We're going on vacation for a week or so, I am hoping to have internet access while we're gone, but I may not. If not, I'll getcha back when I get home!

Danielle + Jason

Danielle + Jason's pics are FINALLY posted, this took me fooooorreeevverr... Sorrry, Dan! Danielle is my sweet sister-in-law and hopefully one day Jason will be my brother-in-law! Hint, hint, Jason! :) So this really wasn't an engagement session, more like a 'we're just in luuuuuvvv' session! ha! Anyway, I don't have to tell ya that I had a great time with these two, I always have a great time when Danielle is around! Oh, and I got more Sonic out of the deal, this time a nice Diet Coke. I'm gonna have to include a Sonic pit stop in my session fee...

(Love you guys, and I can't wait until next week! Tubin' baby! <-say it like Joey and it's funnier...)

What's Happenin'?

Lotsa super-cool new stuff coming from Amy Blackburn Photography this summer! The website is undergoing major surgery, we're getting a totally new design which will be much more user friendly and easier on the eyes. :) New prices are coming too, don't be scared, it's a good thing! There will be different sessions for you to choose from, and the sessions will include a print credit as part of the sitting fee... see... cool! New products are coming too! The site should be back from its complete overhaul at the beginning of July, so stay tuned for that!

I'm also working out the details on two new surprises that I can't wait to tell you about! Hopefully by the end of the week I can share that part of What's Happenin'...

January + Kyle

Tons of locations you see? Yep. Tons. Some that aren't even featured here! This was a great shoot. I had so much fun, and got to use bunches of my new ideas with these two. I think I say this about all my clients, but January and Kyle were awesome. This was seriously a marathon session, and did I hear any complaints? No. Even when it was 112 out and we were hiking like a mile back into Chalk Ridge, no complaints. Kyle carried my ladder and we all sweated and laughed and as a result I have so many favorites from this session that I couldn't even post them all here without it seeming like ridiculous excess. I guess if I had to pick, I'd say 1 & 2 are my faves, but I also love this last one w/ their dog, Luther. Something about that shot, their feet in bokeh, him in focus... looking all... you know...dogish. I like it. Thanks January & Kyle for everything. (Especially the mozzarella sticks!)

Austin

Yes, I know. He is stinking cute. Like he should model for the Children's Place kinda cute. Keep that in mind if you are ever low on funds, Awbrey! He could make you a killing! :) We had tons of fun and Austin is no-doubt 100% boy, he just wanted to climb trees and throw grass at my camera. It was great!

A funny

too funny. i'm lovin' these what the duck comic strips, i will try to post one for your viewing enjoyment from time to time. i hear laughing burns calories, and i need all the help i can get!

Hannah is on her way!

This maternity session was long overdue! We were rained out last weekend, and almost got rained out again on Sunday! Mandy is so ready for little Hannah to get here, it should be any day now. The thing about maternity pics is that you have a certain window of opportunity to work with, and if you miss it, there is no rescheduling! Mandy & Garret were just awesome. I was asking her to all of these crazy things, forgetting that she was pregnant, and was happy to do them all! I was sooo not that nice when I was a week away from delivering...if you had the pleasure of knowing me during that time, I apologize. :) I am looking forward to meeting Hannah in a week or two, and I am really looking forward to getting to spend more time with Mandy & Garrett, they are so great!
